Tom,

Any chance of Mr. Pettibone staying on for a Summer Tour….if one is in the works? I got my hands on a show from the Cayamo cruise, and I must say that it was great to hear his playing once again.

Are you talking about the show with Buddy Miller and Jim Lauderdale? Yes, that was an awesome show.

Yeah, that’s the one. Love Jim Lauderdale as the “bad boy” on Jailhouse Tears, and Doug’s guitar throughout…not to mention Buddy Miller…now there’s a touring band. WOW

Well, I’m a bit partial to a “Southeast U.S. Summer Tour”, but a Northeast U.S. one will at least be closer to me than NZ/AUS! 😆

Didn’t Lucinda tour the east coast last year, at least once? I know she went to New England twice. You see her more than us Southern Californians. 🙄

Aren’t you forgetting all those “one off” shows y’all get to see in SoCal, tonyg? You know, those one-of-a-kind shows on New Year’s Eve, with Jack Shit, etc.? 😉

And, you are certainly within driving distance of the upcoming Cave Creek show (at least, it is a drive I would certainly consider if I lived in the LA area)…

The shows with John Prine will be Lu and Doug as John is also doing a solo/stripped down show. Also look for shows on Cape Cod and Stone Mountain Arts Center to be announced fairly soon -and the Philadelphia folk Fest on 8/18 in between the Prine shows.
