Kasey just released a new video – it is a cover of Suzanne Vega’s hit from the late 80’s, “Luka”. It will be on her new album, Storybook, due out September 23, 2011…

Make that release date for Storybook October 4th. But, judging from the $30+ import-only offerings at Amazon.com & CDUniverse.com, it appears that, just like Little Bird, the new CD will be released first in Australia, which, I assume, means fans in the U.S. & Canada will have to wait several months for a North American release, like we did for Little Bird. I wonder why this is? Is her market in North America that small?

Oh, cool! Check it out! It turns out that Storybook is an album of covers and, guess what song is apparently the album opener? Why, “Happy Woman Blues” by our very own Lu! 8)

Didn’t know Kasey was doing HWB, looking forward to hearing it, she’s great. And what do you know, there’s that Paul Kelly guy again. Loved her comments about him and Lu.
