    The electric Was side is a magnum opus, but the Kitchen Tapes side, as the youngsters are wont to type nowadays, ‘Pwns.’
    I compare this to Harrison’s long-booted demos for his chef d’oeuvre All Thing Must Pass.
    Bring on more demos!

    TKT all the way. I think the production on the official album often gets in the way of the songs. I get what they were going for on a lot of the tracks but listening to the stripped down versions gives these songs the space they need to be great.

    Shocking to even myself, I gotta go with Was.

    Proving there is reason to his near genius rep.

    After being “blessed” to have been able to attend several late summer early fall shows,
    where I heard Buttercup live, listening to the Was version blew me away.

    The rest of the album did as well. Both versions.

    But the Was versions reinforce both artists statuses as legends…
