These shows are still happening- the database at the record label dumped all the tour date info and the dates should be back up on this site tomorrow. Not real happy right now.
January 5, 2011 at 1:37 pm #44987LWjettaParticipantHey TO the Shows list is back on track.
I see you have also added 3/8- Portsmouth, NH (listed on High Road not here yet), 3/14-Red Bank, NJ and 3/16 Asheville, NC
Don’t forget about listing 3/7 Ithaca, NY tickets are now on sale.Looking at many of these venues you guys have done a great job in selecting some very historic theatres with pretty reasonable ticket prices. (Hardly a TicketMaster one in sight.) Several in fact are non profit venues.
Is 3/15 Washington still on?lwj
January 5, 2011 at 5:10 pm #44988TimParticipantA Big thank you to DavidinMaine for suggesting Portsmouth, NH. You got your wish & it should be awesome inside that night!

You are eagle-eyed, lwj–zero Ticketmaster/Live Nations (save for Toronto) works for me too. Hasn’t the Stubbs Austin date shifted by one day? Yes, I have my Ithaca printed ticket tucked away and also wonder if the Jersey to Carolina jaunt will stop in our nation’s capital.
January 5, 2011 at 8:56 pm #44990paul_from_losangelesParticipantSorry to rain on your anti-Ticketmaster party, but I believe Webster Hall is a Ticketmaster client.
January 5, 2011 at 10:12 pm #44991TOverbyParticipantThat’s because you basically can’t play a real venue in New York City that isn’t controlled by Ticketmaster. That is the reality of it there and in most other major cities. Things are starting to change but it takes time. I appreciate that our attempts to minimize using TM etc., and reasonable ticket prices, are noticed. Thank you for that.

While I am more focused on the Asheville date & any forthcoming dates in the ensuing week. Not typically being as far-ranging in my Lu travels as you, I am hoping for several more dates in or near North Georgia. For starters, I am very seriously considering driving to Asheville in March…
But, to answer your question, there does indeed appear to be a DC date at the 9:30 Club the night before the Asheville date (Tuesday the 15th). I just received the following “new tour dates” from pollstar.com:
Monday – 03/07/2011 – Ithaca, NY
Tuesday – 03/08/2011 – Portsmouth, NH
Wednesday – 03/09/2011 – Boston, MA
Friday – 03/11/2011 – New York, NY
Saturday – 03/12/2011 – New York, NY
Monday – 03/14/2011 – Red Bank, NJ
Tuesday – 03/15/2011 – Washington, DC
Wednesday – 03/16/2011 – Asheville, NCTom
January 6, 2011 at 3:04 pm #44998TimParticipantBoston is also a Live Nation/Ticketmaster show.
January 6, 2011 at 3:18 pm #44999LWjettaParticipantOk Tim and paul_from_losangeles, I just modified my post from nary to hardly a TicketMaster one in sight. 😆

Man, wouldn’t it be nice if a 3/18 show appeared at the Tabernacle in Atlanta?! I could drive to Asheville, and hit Atlanta on the way home. 🙂
January 7, 2011 at 6:03 pm #44994stogerParticipantI think Austin South X SW Lost Highway anniversary show is the 18th, West Words.
January 7, 2011 at 6:12 pm #44995West WordsParticipantThanks, Stog, I knew that. Meant to say 3/17, but that would sure present a challenge in getting to Austin for the 18th. But a girl can dream… 😀

Tabernacle, Variety Playhouse, the newly renovated Buckhead Theater – Any & all of them would work! But, of these three, I believe the VP is the best bet for the combination of size plus a non-TM ticket purchase option. Remember – those tickets we just got to see the Carolina Chocolate Drops there had only a $1 per ticket fee – and that was because I was using a credit card at the box office…

Dream yes, but can a girl play five nights in a row. . .
January 8, 2011 at 11:45 pm #45000wtwn81ParticipantRed Bank, NJ – this is great news !!
