Found these that perhaps WebMasta could add to the Photos section of the forum.
First up is from the Sacred Grounds Cafe in SF way back in June 1988 appearing with J.C. Hopkins.LW Sacred Grounds Cafe June 10,1988.jpg[/attachment:4scc524o]
Next up is from the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, CA Feb. 2006Lw at the Belly Up Tavern Feb 2006.jpg[/attachment:4scc524o]
Last up is from The Fillmore Oct. 2006 with the Heartless Bastards.
Pay particular attention to the Blue Bird in the poster. Squidbillies ?LW and the HB’s Fillmore Oct. 2006.jpg[/attachment:4scc524o]So, Mr. Overby, how is the artwork coming along on the deluxe “Blessed” set ?

this is by far my favorite – and the #2 item on my need-to-have list (#1 is the fillmore tour t-shirt, nowhere to be found, please someone sell me!).
by the way, does anyone have a list of t-shirts besides those selling on her site? i have the red devil one, and i bought the essence tour t-shirt (best purchase ever on ebay – but i didn’t receive it after two months, much to my concern.
right now, there’s one there with a colorful heart, “lucinda and the love band”, which must be from circa 2005, right?
October 14, 2010 at 6:56 am #44594West WordsParticipantI am pretty sure I got my Love Band shirt when Lu opened for Neil Young on the Greendale tour. Saw the show at Jones Beach, took the train back into NYC and had a heck of a time finding the right exit out of Penn Station at 1am. If I were to have been mugged, I promise they wouldn’t have gotten my treasured shirt – that is my fav!
October 14, 2010 at 11:56 am #44595LWjettaParticipantOK, I modified the title to include t shirts.
I have the red devil one and one from the 30th anniversary tour of 2009.
Can’t find a good list of t shirts on the net.
WebMasta reported earlier in the year “Watch for big changes in the Forum store”-still looks the same to me.In the meantime , here is a rather unusual poster with Lu and her father in Nashville. Is this really an old pic ?LW and Miller Williams Nashville March 06.jpg[/attachment:lfbcivce]

October 15, 2010 at 10:45 pm #44596tntracyParticipantThanks for the images, LWJ. As I have noted before here in the “Friendly” forum, I collect Lu’s gig posters. I have the last one from your first post in this thread (the one w/ the Heartless Bastards from the Fillmore), as well as the one in your last post from Nashville in my collection. (punchdrunklove, I also have a copy of the one you linked to – most of the ones I have, I purchased on eBay, including that one. I love the art work!)
I was at that Nashville show four years ago – it was at the Belcourt Theater (very near the Vanderbilt campus) and, as the poster states, was one of the “Poetry Said, Poetry Sung” shows with Lu & her Father, Miller Williams. Doug Pettibone was there as well on guitar accompaniment. The photo on it is old, I believe, but a “stock” photo – neither the gentleman portrayed or the little girl bear any resemblance to Miller & Lu…

The posters you posted are superb punchdrunklove.
tntracy posted the front and back of one version of the 30th anniversary last October, but the link is no longer available.
Here are the front and back of the one I purchased in Toronto last October.tn_LW Front.jpg[/attachment:1skrzlig]I used the back for another concert as a background for the image.
When tntracy, westwords, Stoger and others toured for the August mini tour in California, etc., did they spot any gig posters for these concerts ?

Thanks for posting those images – I have several of them. Two I do not have, however, and that I’ve not seen before are the rooster & Eve w/ the serpent. I’m going to have to add those to my collection if I can find them!

October 18, 2010 at 11:31 am #44600LafayetteParticipantI love the “Eve With The Serpent” poster.
tnt… I also love the poster in your exercise room.
October 18, 2010 at 11:33 am #44601LafayetteParticipantP.S. Wish I was around during the Lu, Carrie Rodgriquez tour. WFPK 91.9 just down the road an hour and a half, very cool radio station.

I love that one, too. I actually have two copies. The one you saw, carelessly tacked up on the bulletin board in “your guest room”, is a bit tattered as I took it off of an exterior wall of the Georgia Theater in Athens, GA while waiting in the “doors” line before seeing Lu there (as an aside, the Georgia Theater burned down a year or two ago). As you saw, Lu signed it out by the bus after the show w/ a black Sharpie.
Since I loved the art work so much on it (a “Day of the Dead” styled skull), i found a mint-condition one on eBay later & bought it. Later, Lu signed that one with a gold paint pen, I believe out back of the Ryman after the show I saw there several years ago.

October 18, 2010 at 5:37 pm #44603punchdrunkloveParticipanteve/serpent & rooster were designed by the same person responsible for the 2nd poster lwjetta posted (belly up tavern ’06). they’re all available here: http://www.dking-gallery.com/store/ScrojoPostersW.html. shipping to brazil is insanely expensive, so i won’t be buying it soon. i really love the rooster poster – i was talking about those artworks with a designer friend and that was her favorite. i still prefer the florida one – the sky, the moon, the wine, the flower, the window, the couple of tiles missing from the wall – there’s not a single “original” aspect in it, a bunch of cliche romantic elements put together, but it’s so GORGEOUS.
Since I loved the art work so much on it (a “Day of the Dead” styled skull)
let me see it, please. is there a photo available anywhere?

lwjetta, you got an autograph from kathleen edwards on failer! i’ve been listening to this album these past few weeks.
October 18, 2010 at 5:41 pm #44604punchdrunkloveParticipantLW store does not carry the 30th anniversary t-shirt. why? i’ll buy one.

I looked for an image online when I posted my message above, but didn’t find one. So, I just snapped a photo of the one I have signed in gold paint pen:
While I was at it, I snapped photos of a couple of others I have that I like a lot. Here is one from a show I also attended here in Georgia that is of a similar motif as the one above (It is also signed by Lu – to my wife – and by Doug Pettibone.):
And finally, a beautiful (I think) image of Lu on a poster from a show in Melbourne, Australia (no, I wasn’t at that show! But Lu has also signed this one, in silver Sharpie):
I estimate I have about 30 posters in my collection, maybe half of which are signed. I need to get them framed, but it is sooooo expensive, especially for 30 or so of them! 😯
