According to the link:

Lucinda will join Buffalo Springfield, Pearl Jam, Elvis Costello, and others at the Bridge School Benefit, organized by Neil & Pegi Young, in Mountain View, California.
Lucinda is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 23; the benefit continues on Sunday, Oct. 24.

Think there is a chance of a Lu / Pegi duet on “Side of the Road.”

lwjSeptember 13, 2010 at 9:15 pm #44329tonygKeymasterQuite the line-up. 😀
September 13, 2010 at 9:28 pm #44330LafayetteParticipantOops, didn’t see this thread. West Coast fans are on a good Lu run. 8)
September 13, 2010 at 11:52 pm #44331West WordsParticipantHmmm…. was already planning on seeing JP, Chrissie, and the Fairground Boys in San Francisco that night. Wonder if it’s possible to see both on the same day…
September 14, 2010 at 12:19 am #44332paul_from_losangelesParticipantWest Words:
The Bridge School benefit opens at 5 PM, and probably continues very late–I’ve never attended this event, but I believe the Shoreline Amphitheatre has a curfew at 11 PM.
JP & Chessie’s opening act, Amy Correia, begins at 9 PM, at Bimbo’s 365, in San Francisco, about 40 miles away.
Theoretically, you could see some of both shows, but you would be missing significant music at Shoreline to get to Bimbo’s by 9.
Perhaps, you might choose to fully attend the Bridge Benefit, and then travel to Los Angeles for JP & Chessie on Monday night, the 25th.
September 14, 2010 at 3:01 am #44333West WordsParticipantThanks for your help, Paul. 🙂 Are you going to either the L.A.10/25 or Anaheim 10/27 Fairground Boys shows? Are you now a convert? 😀
September 19, 2010 at 5:39 pm #44334Mike_DoranParticipantI am still trying to rationalize the cost of another trip down the coast, but this was way too cool an opportunity to pass on…
When buying the tickets they had an option I hadn’t ran into before of buying a “four pack”.
So I did, lawn seating for both days..
My wife’s on board, now I have to talk two friends into coming with and sharing expenses…But, this should be well worth it!
I’m so glad that it was posted here and links provided…
Thanks!!September 19, 2010 at 7:08 pm #44335tonygKeymasterDon’t forget to file a report!

Figure on at least 90 minutes (optimistic) for the drive and parking. Traffic shouldn’t be too bad but, Bimbo’s, the JP, Chrissie venue, is on the far north side of SF – no way to avoid weaving through the city to get there. There are parking garages 1 and 2 blocks away on Jones St.
I’m hoping (and suggesting/requesting/pleading) that Lu will consider asking if she can join in the Sunday BSB as well. A great line-up would be a heck of a lot better still if that happened!
BTW – cheers to everyone in Fayetteville tonight and tomorrow. I know I’ll feel the vibe all the way out here in NoCal. 🙂
October 5, 2010 at 5:06 am #44337Mike_DoranParticipantGotta wonder why Lucinda isn’t playing on Sunday as well as Saturday…
I suppose I should be grateful (and I AM) for this late summer/early fall west coast extravaganza, but as most are playing both days…
Should be a couple of great shows!!

Likewise, I can’t imagine why Lucinda didn’t play Hardly Strictly Bluegrass this past weekend in SF. She and her music is a natural for this event that hosts so many other great singer/songwriters. So, by way of this msg, I’m planting the seed… Lucinda at HSB 2010!
I’m still holding out slim hope that she will play Sunday at Bridge School but my understanding is that the line up is fixed well in advanced.October 22, 2010 at 11:04 am #44339LWjettaParticipantJust wondering TO, if Val and David will be along with Lu tomorrow.
The Bridge School show is normally an all acoustic event.
Think there is a chance of a Lu / Pegi duet on “Side of the Road.”For those attending, looking forward to your reports.
lwjOctober 22, 2010 at 7:02 pm #44340tonygKeymasterI know Doug will be with her, LWjetta. I don’t know about the others.
Anyone going had better be prepared to get wet and stay wet. The forecast is for rain all weekend.
