I just discovered this group the other day on the radio, after hearing their latest single “Clap Your Hands.” I found their website with the following recently released video for the single. LOVE it! Reverend Peyton is married to the gal on washboard “Breezy” and the dude on drums and the 5 gallon bucket is his brother. They are touring with the Vans Warped Tour this summer. They have a record instore here in Cincy on Wednesday I am going to try to make.
This is an eclectic video. The dots for me connect on this band to Brown County, Bloomington, IN and apparently Paul Mahern (Mellencamp) has mastered a record or two of theirs. The backstory on the shooting of the video is noted in the footer on YouTube.
Well chosen description Lafayette.
A good old fashioned barndance, it goes to show the creativity that is in a human mind.
Outstanding fun to watch.
Thanks for posting.

This video actually reminds me of several Mellencamp videos…using people that aren’t exactly mainstream.
I love their kudos and summary of what was happening in “Clap Your Hands.”
“All of the dancers, artists, freaks, weirdos, cowboys, kids, donkeys, bunko steerers, chickens, and regular folks, who are all Hoosiers, all volunteered their time and talent because they believed in the song and the band.”
