I thought this article from the Raleigh (NC) Downtowner Magazine was interesting, particularly the first paragraph where “honky tonk queen Lucinda Williams” is contrasted with Shania Twain as a metaphor to compare Edisto Island, SC to Hilton Head, SC. “Soulful, not snooty. Gritty, not garish.” Cool! 8)
