    Just thought I’d report that Lyle Lovett was in Adelaide last night, supported by Kasey Chambers. I was lucky enough to score a free ticket which made it even better!

    Being a complete newcomer to Lyle’s music, I wasn’t sure what to expect but wow what an incredible show he put on. Also a very funny and humble guy.

    Fantastic 5 piece backing outfit too with guitar/mandolin, fiddle, cello, electric stand-up bass and conga-based percussionist (a very cool sound).

    I will be off to buy my first Lyle CD tonight – any suggestions as to the best one to start with??
