This is from the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA-long running fund raiser organized by Pegi and NEIL

Lu is singing “Am I too Blue”
I’m embarassed-Who is the other guitarist with the hat and glasses?

Also, if you search You Tube, you will find “I Lost It” and “Lake Charles” from the same concert. ( all 3 are recent additions to You Tube )

Pretty sure that’s John Jackson. The other guy is Jim Lauderdale. Tremendous performance of that song.

tonyg-You sure know your music. I recognized Jim L. initially.
Now I know John is familiar.

Since you live in California, have you ever attended this annual event? supposed to be billed as an all acoustic show.
The other two clips on You Tube are very good too.

I have not attended since it is almost 500 miles away but I think 1999 would have been a great year to go. The clip of Greenville with Emmy Lou and Neil was excellent too.

I LOVE these YouTube finds! I’m really digging John’s guitarwork. Gives depth to Lu’s performance.

He is featured on Lu’s 1999 Austin City Limits DVD performance, along with Jim Lauderdale and Kenny Vaughn. You wikll have to check that out.
