Wonderful night in the Shenandoah Valley, true autumnal temperatures in the 50’s and rain pouring throughout: even though the seats in the Pavillion were covered, the wind blows the rain around and Lu thanks us multiple times for coming out. I enter with a cold and emerge with flu-like symptoms, no sleeves and no jacket. But hell, it’s Lucinda. I’ll get over it. Everyone seems happy and Lu announces she’s looking forward to going into the studio after October and setting down some new songs which are emerging. Watch this space for some potential 30th anniversary shows in the second month of ’10, west coast. Looking forward to seeing some Forum folks in New York, and to those who will pick up the ball and post setlists and comments from Norfolk and intermediary stops this coming week. Bedtime.
