    Wow, I was already excited to see the upcoming show but this announcement will make it extra special. I’ll have to buy you both a beverage at Brit’s. Congratulations! Can’t wait for the 18th!

    I did not know she was married before, or if Tom was, either. Good luck and hopefully someone will be there to give a report.

    I’ll assume she won’t do “Joy” as the first encore.

    Any interest in a pre-show forum-member beverage? It would be nice to meet a few of the fine folks on this forum. There are plenty of places – let me know…

    Definitely! Stoger & I (and perhaps one or two other folks from the Friendly Forum) are planning on having a drink somewhere close by where we can keep an eye on the will call window as that is where we have to pick up our tickets. Our goal is to get in the queue as early as need be so as to get inside as soon as possible to hopefully claim a spot close to the stage. Looking at maps, etc. of the neighborhood, we are thinking that the Hard Rock Cafe directly across the street is a likely venue. Any suggestions of other establishments within “eye shot” of the will call window are welcome!

    A member of this Forum mentioned a Hooter’s franchise nearby, with perhaps a b’s-eye view of the line outside the venue. Any interested gents?

    Also, O’Donovan’s Irish Pub is at 700 1st Avenue, directly across the street from the First Avenue venue.

    On the map, Hard Rock Cafe and Hooters are in the Block E complex (62 on the map).
    O’Donovan’s is 64 on the map, and the First Avenue venue is 65.

    But Paul, do they “dress” [nominally] in orange and white at that Irish joint? OK, OK, proximity trumps staff attire. Maybe.

    I will be wherever I can see the will call window, orange hot pants notwithstanding! :mrgreen:

    And, if there is no place with said visibility, I will gladly be the first one in the will call line & serve as the lookout who can alert anyone else via cell phone once others begin to queue up…

    I will be hearing the wedding bells first hand as I just realized late last night I am going to be able to pull a trip to Minneapolis off and couldn’t be more excited! I’ll even stomach sitting at Hooters ignoring women’s body parts, beforehand, that is, if the gents don’t mind.
