August 9, 2011 at 8:57 pm #39688LWjettaParticipantThat’s great with Letterman.
Thanks for the link Lefty.
Here’s one for you I received today from Wolfgang’s Vault.
There are 35 songs on this to listen to including a 21 minute gem “He’s Gone” from Elizabethtown, NJ 09/03/1977. It’s song # 33

Thanks for the memories JerAugust 15, 2011 at 2:43 am #39691LafayetteParticipantSaw old video footage of The Grateful Dead’s appearance at early Farm Aid show this past weekend. They were using old clips to fill in the *dead* time.

Wow — Jerry would have turned 70 today. Only in the last year or two have I come to appreciate really how talented he was.

I was at that show- Raceway Park where they used railroad boxcars for the fence. With the New Riders of the Purple Sage and Marshall Tucker Band.
I also was at the Highgate VT show 6/15/95….24 days before his demise.
August 1, 2013 at 11:58 am #39695LeftyParticipantJerry was born 71 years ago today. Hope to take in the “Sunshine Daydream” concert movie at a local thee-a-ter tonight! 8)

February 17, 2015 at 8:20 pm #39697GrumpyMamaParticipantLefty, thanks for posting the Envelopes article. I have a few of those great old GD hard tickets in my memorabilia drawer even though I didn’t adorn my envelopes very elaborately. Are you going to any of the 50th shows?
February 25, 2015 at 12:47 pm #39698LeftyParticipantIn my dreams, GM. How ’bout you?
February 25, 2015 at 7:31 pm #39699GrumpyMamaParticipantAlso in my dreams; not an option for me.
A friend of mine sent me this, you might enjoy it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTBZuulCoPoFebruary 26, 2015 at 1:12 pm #39700LeftyParticipant“Could everyone that never saw Jerry play please leave the room…” 😆
