in the “Lucinda footnotes from festivals around the land” dept:
Emmylou performed “Sweet Old World” at Jazzfest last Thursday. She didn’t introduce the song, or comment, but seemed to give it an extra resonance playing in Lucinda’s old home town. A beautiful, heartfelt rendition. (And lovely performance all in all.)
