Last night (May 8th) in San Pedro, Carrie included “Steal Your Love” in her terrific set of about 20 songs in just under 2 hours. Carrie was backed by Hans Holsen on guitar and Kyle Kegerreis on stand-up bass. Also, members of the opening act “Romantica” joined Carrie for several songs, adding a steel guitar and drums.
If you’re attending any of the Romantica/Carrie shows in this mini-tour, note that Carrie did come onstage early and play fiddle, near the end of Romantica’s opening set. You may want to plan her early appearance into your evening’s schedule.
The San Pedro show was seated general admission, but the hostess invited anyone to move-up, and sit on pillows right in front of the stage. Surprisingly, only 3 folks including me accepted the invite, for a great view of Carrie and the musicians.
