Porn Spam Postings

I, like many other members I am sure, have noticed more and more porn spam postings in the forum. I sure Lefty is just as sick & tired of having to delete these posts and the user IDs that create them as we are of seeing them.

I’ve noticed each time it is a new user ID set up after Lefty has deleted the last one. It may be a real individual behind it, but I think instead it is a bot. If so, adding one of those security measures to the registration process where you have to type in a string of letters and / or numbers that are displayed graphically (like on Ticketmaster.com) would probably stop any automated registrations. I don’t know if the board software used here has that feature but, if so, turning it on might be worth a try…
