I certainly enjoyed the show. Lu was in good spirits and played well with/for the crowd. Again, the venue was not filled, but it didn’t seem to dampen the positive vibes that are a part of the Lucinda experience.

I thought the sound system was great and really highlighted Lu’s voice, which was in fine form. And what can I say about the band? The addition of a fine musician like Chet to the already astounding trio of Doug, Butch and Dave was a home run.

I was a bit surprised with the inclusion of Mamas, don’t let Your Babies Grow to Be Cowbys as part of the encore. It just doesn’t have the punch I associate with the covers Lu seems to grab.

You may already know this, frank:

That song is Lu’s contribution to the Imus Ranch benefit album.

Just thought I’d add that this show was AWESOME. The best lucinda show I have ever been to was last year at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa. This one comes in a VERY CLOSE second.
    Great Setlist!

One complaint: Lucinda wanted people up and dancing. We obliged and went closer to the stage only to be told to sit back down by the “crowd controll”. The Uptown venue was a little TOO STRICT. I even had to take my backpack back to the car before I was allowed in. It was ridiculous.

I bought the new “buick 6” album and it is great! I highly recommend it.

    Parker,

Where did you find the Buick Six album? They didn’t have any at the Columbus show merchandise table. Also, what songs are on it? Hopefully Black Dog and Cinnamon Girl.

Black Dog is. Cinnamon Girl isn’t. It also has a different version of “Well, Well, Well” on there.
I got it at the Merch. Table. I think it just came out last week.
It has the pic of Lucinda with the tape over her mouth on the cover.

OK Inside Job or Tom Overby,

Where can fans buy the new Buick 6 Album. I don’t see it on Lucindas store tab or on Amazon. Not sure where your interests start or end between Lucinda and her band, but hopefully you want to keep cash paying fans happy and buying.

It was just 10 bucks. I thought that was an pretty good deal.
    Is it on cdbaby.com?
