That’s awesome news, but I am confused. Based on all the reviews, this had been released before in 2005? If so, how did I miss it? And, if so, this Nov. 11 release is a re-release?

Also, no mention of the audio options that I saw on a quick glance. Hopefully it’ll have at least Dolby Digital – even better if it has DTS.

EDIT: OK, now I see after looking more closely at the reviews (and seeing that I myself had reviewed it!!!) – Amazon screwed up. It looks like they copied all the reviews from the 1998 ACL performance that was released on DVD in 2005. Weird.

OMG! This is my favorite Lucinda era and I am thrilled they are releasing this!!

I wish she had done Like A Rose on this set.

Awesome! My mom and I are both gonna be on this DVD like white on rice. So awesome. Maybe the s/t album is due for a nice re-release soon too! 🙂

There’s this one too, which I don’t think has been mentioned here yet (apologies if I’ve missed a thread):

It’s a big collection of all sorts of TV appearances, from several different eras between 1977 and 2007.

The quality of the recordings is quite variable (as is the colour of her hair!) but it’s a wonderful collection to have.

That one seems vague. Would like to know what is actually on it.

I hate that picture they used. Her hair looks like a bad wig in the photo.

The “Cowgirls Get The Blues” disc” is certainly a strange one. The running order seems mghtily confused, and there is a shortage of information about the tracks on there. The Troubadour logo in the bottom corner is a pain in the bum, and the quality of most of it seems a generation or two renmoved from the master to say the least.

Despite that, it’s a fascinating watch, and I really enjoyed it!!!!

This DVD is a bootleg. It is not an authorized release.

You mean, of course, the “Cowgirls Get the Blues” DVD, right? The one linked in the first post in this thread, the 1989 ACL one, it is legit, correct?

Yes – the ACL dvd is legit although Lucinda doesn’t really have any say about the release of those titles. They fall under a blanket deal that ACL did with New West Records to release everything. New West then went and made clearance deals with all of the parent companies and the publishers– Universal, Warner Bros. etc.

…well here’s hoping they’ll also release the full performance from 2007–the four songs or so of it that I saw were amazing!

Just a heads up for those thinking of getting this – Amazon has dropped their price $1.02 to $13.97. Here is a link.

Mine comes today – I’m looking forward to watching it tonight!
