    During the show at Massey Hall, a technician suddenly brought out a song sheet to Lu.
    She stated in view of such an appreciative audience in Toronto, she was going to do only for the 2nd time in the current tour from Little Honey her favourite cut “Rarity”
    This caught the band by surprise and had to quickly change instruments.

    All in all a great show-about 3/4 capacity crowd out of 2,800 seats. ( 40 minutes of the band followed by 2 hrs. of Lucinda )

    To please the “whiners” from previous threads she did a great mix of oldies and the new CD including the title song from Essence.

    In the opening set Buick 6 rocked and included a cover of a Led Zeppelin tune.

    By the way, there were no false starts and from being at two previous concerts this year, she did not refer to her song sheets as often.

    The theatre rocked.

    Sounds like a great show – does anyone have a set list they can post?

    I need another fix – I hope she comes back to Atlanta the first of the year! 8)

    ‘whiner’ here…actually, just someone not willing to slobber over any and every little thing Lu does…

    if you think Essence is an oldie, you are very much a newbie….
