    I got to know, does Buick 6 have a CD out? Damn, those cats can really play. Pettibone is the PERFECT guitarist for Lucinda.

    There is a CD in the offing, don’t know the release date – maybe someone else does. I agree, tho’ – they played a great opening set at the Atlanta show Friday night…

    Inside Job has said that they have a record that will be out very shortly, but it will only be available at Lucinda shows at first.

    And I asked at the merch booth at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens show, and the guy there, while he knew about the album, didn’t know when it will be available.

    He did have some copies of Doug’s CD, “The West Gate”, for those of you looking for that.

    I’m getting confused, is Buick 6 a warm up band that performs before Lucinda, or are they her band? And if they are her band, does that mean Dave Sutton and Doug Pettibone are now part of Buick 6?

    Yes, they are her band. Yes, David Sutton & Doug Pettibone are part of Buick 6.

    I would love to hear the Buick 6 version of one of my favorites from Neil Young, Cinnamon Girl. Sounds like they play it often. That is such a guitar centered song I bet Doug and Chet really jam out.

    incredible guitar duo to follow, I’m sure and I never even heard them.

    …okay, I guess I’m slow here, does Buick 6 play without Lu as a warm up act, and then Doug, Chet and David come out and play again with Lu?

    Are there members of Buick 6 that don’t also play with Lu?

    I’ve not seen it, only read it, but it doesn’t seem like that hard of a concept to “get”

    Buick 6 opens the show, then after the intermission Lucinda comes out with them. Don’t forget Butch Norton on drums.
