Are they selling a new design of Lucinda t-shirts at the shows?
July 15, 2008 at 9:29 pm #36137paul_from_losangelesParticipantAt the Lowell show, they were selling a black T-shirt with lines from “2-Kool-2-Be Forgotten” screened in orange or red (…no dope smoking after 12 o’clock…). I don’t know how new this shirt is, but I don’t remember it previously.
August 6, 2008 at 8:11 pm #36138bobParticipanthere can I getone of those shirts?
At the Greenfield shirt, they didn’t have my size…August 6, 2008 at 10:44 pm #36139stevarinoParticipantAt the show at Riverbend in Cincinnati they were selling T-Shirts with the Album Cover From “Lucinda Williams”. They looked cool and I stood in line to buy one. When they handed it to me it was not a T-shirt brand I recognized, it was very thin cheap fabrick, and cost 35 bucks. Come on, I get better quality t-shirts for free walking for March of Dimes.
August 7, 2008 at 1:55 am #36140LafayetteParticipantI was looking at shirts at the New York show and mentioned to my Mellencamp friend I wanted to buy one and then looked at that $35 price and told her “never mind, I’ll wait.” This friend ended up surprising me with that same cheap material shirt as an early birthday gift!

I’ll get some Port and Company or anvil, or even Hanes white Tees and get them silkscreened with the out of print Lucinda Williams Album Cover and bring one to you at the football games this fall. I’ll be missing both pre-seasons, but will be at the Titan’s game on Sept 14th. Can I invite you to our tailgate party in lot B just a hundred yards east of the stadium?
August 7, 2008 at 2:59 am #36142LafayetteParticipantWe park in Lot B! We will be missing 1st pre-season game. Message me information on finding your party and what we can bring to contribute. We can talk football and I can regale you with information on the Farm Aid concert I will be attending the following week! I have my fingers crossed Lu will get an invite to play FA. Who Dey, baby!
So as not to get too off topic…my friend, the one sitting next to me in Cincy, bought me a Large shirt. What was she thinking? 🙄
August 7, 2008 at 11:08 pm #36143stevarinoParticipantI always wondered if Who-Dey originated as a mispronunciation of a shout to the beer-guy for some Hudepohl, Cincinnati’s best.
I’m thinking the shirt was given to you as a large so it would be to big for you, and would be returned to the giver for whom it is perfectly sized – LOL.
I go to games with my brother in law, and we go to his neghbor’s tailgate party. He owns his own office furniture supply company, and buys, prepares, and cleans up everything. Anyone and everyone can drop by. Its a business expense. The more the merrier. I’ll IM you some details the day before, but I’ll have my TJ jersey on. Who’s your mama!
