    After reading all the Lowell reviews I wanted to comment on the night before in Holmdel, NJ. Lu was in great voice and even better spirits. I was fortunate enough to be sitting 2nd row, and the band looked liked they were having a blast. Upon my request for Pineola, Lu said “well get to that one, dont worry” and gave me a big smile(which made my night). I was on Dougs side and even got a couple of laughs out of him when I was egging him on to let it rip on his solos! My point is, I see why Lu said it ruins the vibe or whatever w/ the band when morons yell out stupid stuff, because it does the exact opposite when you are giving them positive feedback. anyway, great show. IMO she should of been the headliner.

    wow, that was nasty. i was just stoked on the show was all. i guess i wont be posting anymore.

    I was in the left center Orchestra and remember hearing your request. She seemed to be in good spirits through the Holmdel set and she made some appreciative remarks about the audience response later in her set.
