Evidentlly, this show has been added to the tour, and looks to be the opener.

Guess that shows what happens when you assume…this is the only show that I’ll be able to make (can’t take the day off work to make the trek up north July 2, don’t really care to go to Summerfest or the Chicago show where she’s opening for Mellencamp), and I don’t mind the 3-hour drive to get to this show at all.
Plus, I was able to snag a front-row seat! All the way on the right side of the theatre, but still fine by me. Anyone else interested in this show, there are still decent orchestra seats left.

Your welcome. I’ve seen a picture of the theatre; it looks real nice. I’m surprised it still is not listed on lucindawilliams.com or High Road Touring. I’ll be heading out to Minneapolis on vacation the next morning and will be catching that nights’ show. Let us know how it goes if you can.
Thanks Tim; I didn’t nab front row, but third row center/left will do me nicely. But Iowa City is not the “tour opener” any more, nor is Philly the Mellencamp/Lu debut. Only High Road lists this: a 28 June Mellencamp/Lu date, Marcus Ampitheatre, Milwaukee. Still red seats left. So she’s playing Summerfest twice in six days, two different stages, two different formats. The Great Midwest is looking finer and finer. Here’s hoping the Dement-Brown-Brown-Ramsey crowd will turn out for Iowa city. . . .
