    Humphrey’s on the Bay in San Diego has released its 2008 schedule. Lucinda is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 4; also, EmmyLou Harris on Thursday, July 31. Tickets on sale Saturday, March 29; note that Humphrey’s reserves the better seats for dinner and hotel guests, who pay $100’s of dollars for the premium seats. Be aware, based on previous years, the seats are usually wood/plastic lawn chairs, cabled together to prevent sliding for a better view. There is essentially no rake (it’s a flat lawn), so visibility can be poor seeing around tall people.

    Paul, See my note (15th and latest) on the Tour 2008 subject line. Apparently Humphrey’s has reverted to August–or at least I bought my ticket on that basis.

    Yes, stoger, I noticed Humphrey’s date moved from Sept. 4 to Aug. 26, similar to Lowell moving from July 18 to July 12. Probably, just some shuffling by the booking agents to adjust for other performers. I chose not to purchase for Humphrey’s–I just find too many negatives with the venue.
