I saw these guys in concert once and they were amazing. I even have a couple of their LP’s from long ago.
In the show I saw, they had to carry the Commander out and sit him on his piano bench, as if he was too drunk to walk on his own.
Don’t know if this was part of their act, or not? Haha!

some vinyl huh? wow, you are a fan. someone told me they saw him in New Jersey in 2004 and he wasn’t getting around very well. they were a smokin’ band when i saw them back in the 70s. there’s an interesting article about them at their website (a link at the bottom of the page)
i have a couple of cd’s Live Deep in the Heart of Texas and a King Biscuit show disk, both very good.
