Wow. What a fantastic gig.
Has anyone got a set list?November 21, 2007 at 8:14 am #35062G-ManParticipantHaving been at both nights too I have to agree, the venue is superb, but until it garners greater recognition it may not pull the crowds artists draw elsewhere in the capital. Also for people living on the west of London it’s a hell of a drive.
That said Lucinda sang better than I have heard her for a number of years, the sound again was impeccable and the band magnifique.
Monday’s set list from memory and not necessarily in order, went something like this:
Are You Alright
Fruits of My Labour
Steal Your Love
Learning How To Live
Drunken Angel
People Talkin’
I Lost It
Righteously
Out Of Touch
Are You Down
Come On
Honey Bee
Joy
Riders On the Storm

Unsuffer MeNovember 24, 2007 at 2:33 pm #35063dvd unpluggedParticipantHey, an absolutely incredible show. I’m fairly new to Lucinda – on the Dylan site that I am a member of people were saying good things about her. Then I had the good fortune to be at a Car Boot sale where someone was selling CD’s for £1 each. There was three of Lucinda’s and I bought ’em all for £2. 50 (well, you have to negotiate don’t you)
I was still in two minds about going to see her when someone sent me a recording of one of her live shows. That made my mind up, a ticket for the Indigo show was ordered.November 24, 2007 at 2:40 pm #35064dvd unpluggedParticipantAnyhow, I was hoping that one of you experienced fans had noted the set list, some of it was alien to me. I got there early and claimed a spot near front of stage, stood there for Devon Sproule and bought a copy of her latest, thought she was good. Lucinda was everything and more than I expected, a superb venue but I wish that the promoters would remember that some people have to catch trains. It was touch and go that I made mine, if only she had been on stage 20-30 mins early I would have had a bit more peace of mind.
So is there nobopdy with the set list out there?
November 24, 2007 at 5:41 pm #35065G-ManParticipantThe set list is what I posted above, although not necessarily in the absolutely correct order the songs were played, but the content is 100% accurate.
November 25, 2007 at 8:22 pm #35066paul_from_losangelesParticipantAs G-Man stated, he nailed the content of songs 100% accurately. However, I did manage to read my scribbled notes after 5456 miles, and here is the sequence I noted:
1. Are You Alright?
2. Fruits of My Labor
3. Learning How To Live
4. People Talkin’
5. Steal Your Love (Thank You, Lucinda!)
6. I Lost It
7. Drunken Angel
8. Out of Touch
9. Are You Down?
10. Still I Long For Your Kiss
11. Righteously
12. Come On
13. HoneyBee
14/15. Joy, segued into Riders on the Storm
16. Lake Charles
17. Pineola
18. Sweet Old World
19. Unsuffer MeThe Monday show seemed mellower than Sunday, with a smaller audience allowing room to meander, and to experience different sightlines for different songs. Monday’s audience was also more respectful, with the grateful absence of the annoying character from Sunday, who insisted on shouting requests, while Lucinda was righteously discussing her songs and feelings.
November 30, 2007 at 12:57 pm #35067Charles LakeParticipantSorry if I annoyed everybody. I have the utmost respect for Lucinda and the band, as well as all you guys – I just wanted to hear “Lake Charles” on Sunday night.
You lucky ones got it first song in the encore 😳
