Calling Sweden…

Hej Lefty! I didn’t know you possessed such skills in the Swedish languish, very impressive!
Well, what can I say, I just got back from Malmö to Stockholm where I live and I am just filled with inspiration and great words about the show last night at Kulturbolaget. With a trembling start (it turned out Lu got stucked on the tourbus since there was something wrong with the doors that wouldn’t open) it just got better and better. She was very talkative and emotionally driven, talking about the songs and the frustrating political climate in the U.S.
Seeing her in Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö this week, I think all of the shows were great but Malmö was the best!
She did more songs from West but still with a good mix from her other albums. I love the new song Honey Bee, one of her favorite songs to perform at the moment. The band was amazing all three shows, I liked the fact that they brought in Chet Lyster on guitar/keyboards/mandolin/lapsteel, it made the sound more interesting and diverse. They seemed to have a great time.

Well, Lu is one of a kind, a very special and unique artist and I feel truely blessed and fortunate to have been a part of the magic.

Lucinda 4-ever!

Me and my daughter went to the concerts in Stockholm and Gothenburg.
After the concert in Stockholm we actually met Lucinda, Doug and the crew. After returning to our hotel, all of a sudden the green coach stopped outside. We got to talk to Doug and then Lucinda when she came out on the street. We had some photos taken and then she invited us onboard the bus for a glas of red vine.
Still can’t belive this happened!!! 😀 😀 😀

Both concerts were just great.
