Has anything been determined as far as what will be done with the film footage that was shot by Kevin Downes during the five El Rey Theatre shows? Thank you.
Hope I am not being too presumptious here, but this sounds great news, I just hope Lu likes the end result enough to do something special with it.
That would be great for those of us unable to be there, although we were there in spirit.

Not to be obtuse, here, but am I to understand that there’s professional filming of the album shows? In other words, we could conceivably see an official DVD release? Is that possible??

The filming that was done in LA was of the complete concerts, not just the album portions. Also they were filming the people standing in line outside the theatre, and some one told me there was a camera backstage from time to time.
i was interviewed on film, but i wasn’t asked to sign a release (like the adorable blonde he also interviewed)
so i’m guessing he knew he wouldn’t use it (he caught me off guard, after he left i thought, i just missed a golden opportunity)
after watching him in action tho, i know he shot some precious footage!
