Pity there are no Scottish dates this time, so early signs is that it looks like Dublin for me.
do you know when the official release press will be to confirm the dates ?
and also are there any details of venues, especially the UK dates as far as I am concerned ?Thanks.
August 24, 2007 at 5:49 am #33430jewelsParticipantThe Sheffield date is November 21st @THE PLUG .tickets on sale from 0114 241 3040
August 24, 2007 at 6:50 am #33431dr winston oboogieParticipantGood info, thanks for that..
But it looks like I can only manage Dublin this time..
The same kind of info on Dublin would be great..could then get my
hols and cheap flights booked…Can anyone confirm Dublin date, location and phone number for tickets please ???
August 24, 2007 at 9:22 am #33432SnaggletoothParticipantGreat news, indeed! ๐
So I guess it’s gonna be Kรถln for me, and maybe Paris too.
August 24, 2007 at 3:31 pm #33433paul_from_losangelesParticipantNon-official comment, but “www.ticketmaster.ie” is listing Lucinda in Dublin on November 22 at the Tripod. You can Google for Tripod; it’s a new venue in the old Harcourt station facility, slightly south of the city center. Tickets are not yet on sale.
August 24, 2007 at 7:16 pm #33434stogerParticipantThanks Paul, I know you monitor those European ticket outlets in similar ways to your stateside checks; no doubt you had your finger on the pulse of multiple dates before “Inside Job” (dare I use the initials JR instead) broke the news. Can you say Turkey Dinner in Dublin just prior to the tour finale. . . .
August 24, 2007 at 7:36 pm #33435dr winston oboogieParticipantThank you very much Paul…just what the Dr ordered ๐
Was not aware of the Tripod, but checked on Google and looks good venue, 1300 capacity, is that right ?
Listed on Ticketmaster, but not yet available, just hope I am able to get tickets. Do you know the on sale date ??
Sorry to be such a pest here guys, but if you want something you gotta push for it, and the only part of my jigsaw left now is the tickets.
Thanks again,
Love,Peace and Revolution.
August 24, 2007 at 8:00 pm #33436stogerParticipantWell, I’m not getting much work done today at all: blessedly. Thanks “jewels”; apparently the Plug Sheffield event has in fact been moved to the 21st, per “Inside Job”‘s speculation. I was pleased to see I could buy a “Standing” ticket at a reasonable price, with minimal (read nonTicketBastard) surcharges. I assume we’re all 14-and-over on this site, so who’s purchasing early in the game? Also, it was amusing to note on the Plug Lucinda ticket page the statement “Please note artist will be on stage early.” What, Lucinda?!?!!?!!? If I interpreted things rightly, there’s to be a 15-minute gap between the opening of the Plug doors and our Lu’s emergence. I’d fly transatlantic and more to witness that. . . . Does “jewels” or anyone know about the layout and quality of this venue? Are there ever reserved seats or chairs at all? It sounds wonderful. Now to get on some air fare websites. . .
August 25, 2007 at 4:36 pm #33437djgoreParticipantThe Plug is a small venue, but is all standing. There are a few stools in the bar area which is a seperate room but you can see the stage from there.
Cheers
DaveAugust 25, 2007 at 5:22 pm #33438jewelsParticipantThe Plug is a newish club type gig in the city centre. It’s all standing with a bar down one side. it holds 1200. great views of the stage and great sound
patti smith and Richard Thomson played there last month.
doors 7-30 showtime 8pm
possible support act not known
it says early for LU because sometimes there is a curfew and shows end at 11pm. people turn up expecting a later showtime and miss some of the main act
booking fee as I understand is 1 pound.August 26, 2007 at 10:17 am #33439tupelopennyParticipantHi, this is my first post, long time fan & I live in Dubin.
Tripod is great venue, been in it a couple of times. Its very central, just off St Stephens Green. Not very big though, Olympia theatre in Dublin on her last visit is bigger. Tripod is a mainly standing venue. Tickets are not on sale yet and no one seems to have any details on them here, though they are listed on ticketmaster.
Anyone know anything about london dates, like where its on etc.
I will be in london that weekend anyway, Ryan Adams is playing the fri night. So If i can catch Lucinda as well !!!!August 26, 2007 at 10:52 am #33440dr winston oboogieParticipantThanks Penny, I will certainly be trying for Dublin and if it is a small venue need to be on the ticket case asap.
Will you be trying for Dublin tickets also ?
Do you know if the venue will have tickets for sale ?I will be keeping an eye on Ticketmaster, but if you here anything locally
maybe you could post here for us/me..Thanks
August 26, 2007 at 11:03 am #33441tupelopennyParticipantonly way to get ticket will be through ticketmaster, if local shops have them, they will have rceived them from ticketmaster. But i will be looking and as soon as I hear anything I will post it.
August 26, 2007 at 5:37 pm #33442jewelsParticipantlondon will be indigo the smaller room @ the 02 arena. tickets next friday i understand but not for certain
