CURFEWS ruin everything. it sure seemed that she was ready to really rock for awhile under the fill moon and enthusiastic fans but the dreaded curfew cut her off just as it was getting interesting. great show. no bar!!!!!! sorry but too much charlie .

She should have taken the stage earlier. If Charlie played that long it was because she wasn’t ready. Curfew is no excuse.

I drove out to Farmingville from the city and had a real nice time. The venue and the town itself were really charming and it was a nice break for me and my friends.

I just want to pipe in about Lucinda’s everlasting “curfew” issue. While she was great and definitely made the trip for me (particularly her version of “Unsuffer Me”!!) but she definitely needs to cut the bullshit about her short shows and stop blaming it on the venue. We all know that artists play past 11pm (or even 10:55 in this case), and, yes that means that they play over curfew and pay the time and a half due to Union members on staff at the event.

Clearly Lucinda either needs to fork over the extra cash, or get on stage even earlier. Her exit on Saturday night from stage was so awkward and sour (her last words were something like: “there’s a curfew, it’s not my fault, so dont….”) that it left a bad taste in my mouth after a wonderful show. I dunno, there is too much grumbling about her short (yet still fairly pricey) shows, something has to change….

She pulls this “curfew” thing everytime she’s on the east coast. In Boston she took the stage at 9:00. I thought for sure it would go to 11:00. She left the stage at 10:35; she could have played for another 25 minutes!

No, I don’t think there is any difference in the set lengths.
