I saw Lucinda on 3/10/06 at the House of Blues in Cleveland. I am in search of the setlist for that show. She sang a song that I swear she stated was new and would possibly be on her then upcoming CD. After listening to and loving West, I am thinking that song, which was very catchy, did not make the final cut for her CD. If anyone knows of or where to get this setlist, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks 😀
LIttle Star I was at that show in Cleveland that night ! Me and a couple friends drove over from detroit and crashed in a nice hotel right across the street from the HOB there in cleveland. I’d gotten booted out out of the michigan theater in ann arbor for smokin’ pot so I got a couple pals to go there with me to see the whole show. We got pretty shit-faced but it was a great show and I didn’t get kicked out !!! I’m almost positive Tim is correct in his posting about ‘jailhouse tears’ and ‘the knowing’. Try this link then click on “luciunda williams in concert’ link and a player should pop up to listen to an NPR concert fom 2005 that includes both songs. Sweet, eh ?

Well I am happy you finally got to see a complete show, all i ask 😀 ! Lucinda is amazing. Thanks for the link. I listened to the npr concert and it may have been jailhouse tears but I also seem to remember it being an upbeat song about a perfect kiss or something like that. Who knows- I could be way off base. I am going only on my memory and I drove in from Buffalo that night after work so I was also very very tired. I always thought I would just know it when I heard it but then none of the new songs on West rang a bell. That is why I have been in search of the complete setlist. Trying to find this song has beeen driving me crazy 😯 .

oh no problem both you and tim have helped by weeding out what song it is not. besides the link to the live show is great cause i can listen to it at work. and no it is definitely not passionate kisses- for some reason i really do not like that song. it is the only song of hers i think i skip over everytime. of course it did really help mary chapin carpenter! 😆
